Swim Week brings more than 20 events at 10 venues

The Miami Swim Week – The Shows 2026, a global destination for swim and resort fashion, returns to Mondrian South Beach Miami.

Starting May 27, the swim week festival is entering a new chapter. It brings together over 50 global swim designers from the US, UK, Colombia, Bulgaria, Italy, Brazil and Australia. The event will also have expanded programming and production under new CEO Sean Rashid and Fashion Event Director Elizabeth Claros.

Throughout the week, Miami Swim Week will feature the largest LED screen ever used at a fashion show in the U.S., immersive lighting, laser effects, elevated sound design, and an integrated DJ experience.

“We believe that fashion is no longer only watched from the front rows. It’s watched on phone screens, reels, and live streams. For that reason, we are installing these three large LED screens for people to see, and we’re also streaming the shows so the audience can expect shareable impact,” Mr. Rashid told Miami Today.

“Miami has always had the culture, but we’re building the business architect around it, just like other cities, like New York, Milan, Paris, they are known for couture or for commerce or for editorial fashion,” he said. “We think Miami has something different: resort, swim, wellness, Latin American flair, hospitality, nightlife, and global lifestyle.”

The 2026 edition will feature more than 20 events across 10 venues, further cementing Miami’s role as the global swim capital, he added.

The week officially launches with an open model casting at Strawberry Moon. This swim club destination is inside the Goodtime Hotel. Leading agencies will attend to discover new talent for the runway shows. Additional events include the Fire and Ice Beauty & Wellness Lounge at the Nobu Hotel Miami Beach. Tarte Cosmetics will also host an on-site activation at the Mondrian South Beach Miami.

The one-week fashion and wellness festival will feature a curated selection of designers from around the world, spotlighting swim and resort fashion. All shows are public, with the exception of Ema Savahl Couture, which is opening the group shows May 27 in support of the Little Lighthouse Foundation.

This season also places a strong emphasis on inclusivity, sustainability, and cultural diversity. Brands like Autty Simone and Luxe Living Fashions Black- and women-owned labels, are leading the way in creativity and female empowerment. Additionally, Smart Swimsuits champions eco-conscious innovation with sustainable designs that feature built-in SPF and a mission-driven commitment to protecting the world’s oceans.

The season will also introduce Miami Swim Week FWD, a new initiative merging fashion, sustainability, and social impact, reinforcing the platform’s continued evolution. The week also features fashion panels and industry talks on innovation, global trends, and the swimwear market.

Starting May 28, Miami Swim Week powered by Art Hearts Fashion returns to Miami with over 30 international designers at Miami’s hot spots: M2, LIV, Bentley Hotel, The Vessel, Kiki on the River and Park Central Hotel.

The multi-day showcase will feature high-energy runway presentations and immersive experiences, spotlighting both emerging talent and globally recognized designers. Rooted where fashion meets swim, nightlife, art, and culture, Art Hearts Fashion is cultivating a community of designers, tastemakers, influencers, and industry insiders.

This season’s featured designers include Berry Beachy Swimwear, Papi Swim, Lyberthas, Ca Rio Ca, Copacabana, Capistran, Mister Triple X, Brilleska, Sunlife Beachwear, and more.

Designer Lila Nikole announces The Golden Standard — Amazonia Experience, an immersive, cinematic fashion presentation that transcends the traditional runway format debuting May 31 at Tequila Town. Conceptualized and directed through Lila’s creative lens, the experience introduces a limited-edition Lila Nikole x Platinum FUBU collection.

Inspired by the Brazilian rainforest, The Golden Standard — Amazonia Experience invites guests into a multi-sensory world where fashion, storytelling, and artistry collide. Known for her culture-driven design language, Lila Nikole transforms the space into a living narrative, one that unfolds through character-led moments and evocative visual storytelling.

“This year’s event brings together both industry leaders and a broader audience – creating a dynamic, high-energy environment centered on creativity and innovation,” Mr. Rashid added. “Designed as a true citywide festival extending beyond a single location, it further reinforces Miami’s position as the global capital of swim.”
